Anybody Hungry????

Yes, I was able to see The Hunger games last month. I just didn’t post about it because I got to busy with other things. So I went to see it one week after the opening weekend it was still packed.

This movie was quite amazing. The story line and the acting both made this movie worthwhile to watch and I liked Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss. I even liked the other characters. The whole story line is what is so touching about this movie. I think that it will stay in my mind for a really long time. I don’t just mean the fact that they have 12-18 year old fighting each other and killing each other off, but the graphics were awesome and just things that happened to the other characters were so messed up that it was surreal. I don’t want to give too much away, but I’m sure the majority of people have already seen this movie, if you haven’t then you need to watch it ASAP!!!

The Hunger Games

In a dystopian future, the totalitarian nation of Panem is divided between 12 districts and the Capitol. Each year two young representatives from each district are selected by lottery to participate in The Hunger Games. Part entertainment, part brutal retribution for a past rebellion, the televised games are broadcast throughout Panem. The 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors while the citizens of Panem are required to watch. When 16-year-old Katniss’s young sister, Prim, is selected as District 12’s female representative, Katniss volunteers to take her place. She and her male counterpart Peeta, are pitted against bigger, stronger representatives who have trained for this their whole lives. Written by Suzanne Collins
